Are you a dynamic and focused EFL teacher who would love to work with our teaching team this summer! Then this is the job for you:
Teaching Juniors (ages 8-11 and 12-15) at Bromsgrove International Summer School, near Birmingham, you will teach 27 hours per week, plus non-teaching admin/materials writing duties for full time contracts (any part time contracts will be 15 hours per week). Teachers use IH Bristol's original in-house weekly materials booklets (topic-based, with teacher's notes, written by our core team of teachers, updated annually) - with 'Kids' versions and 'Teens' versions. Full board and lodging provided, but there are no residential duties (these are taken care of by the on-site Bromsgrove team; IH Bristol provides the Academic Teaching Team plus our live-in IHB Academic Manager). This means evenings and weekends are free for all teachers!
CONTRACTS FROM 2nd JULY, 2.5-4.5 WEEK CONTRACTS AVAILABLE, LATEST FINISH 1st AUGUST.
It’s a real joy to work at IH Bristol, and I feel privileged to experience such variation and fulfillment on a daily basis. Lara (Teacher)
IH Bristol's Bromsgrove Summer School
IH Bristols Bromsgrove Summer School has been running for 10 years. In that time the school has built an experience for their international summer junior students which is both fulfilling and rewarding, working together with IH Bristol's Academic EFL Teaching Team.
Bromsgrove is centrally located, just a 30 minute drive from Birmingham and its international airport and only 1 hour and 40 minutes from London Heathrow. The location means there is easy access to many of the UK’s best tourist spots including Stratford, Warwick, Alton Towers, Drayton Manor Theme Park, West Midlands Safari Park and more, meaning it is easy for Bromsgrove to offer a fun and wide-ranging package of excursions, but also a great spot to do weekend exploring for teachers (since IH Bristol teachers are free to come and go from site for evenings and weekends!)
Accommodation
Bromsgrove teaching contracts come with full board and lodging, but no evening or weekend work commitments - it's a teaching only contract!
