IH Quito is a very well established community school based in Quito.

John Warren and Maria Elena Corbeña Loor started teaching in Ecuador, and are now owners of the centre.

We teach a range of English courses to adults, teens and young learners. IH Quito is an authorized centre for Cambridge Assessment English and British Council IELTS, and we specialize in face-to-face teacher training courses.

Life in and around Quito

Quitois the capital of Ecuador, and is the the country's largest city. At nearly 3000 metres above sea level it is the second highest capital city in the world (second only to La Paz).

Quito in the Andes Mountains, so there is much to explore. Its centre has been acknowledged by UNESCO as a world heritage site, and is situated right on the equator - which is what gives Ecuador its name.
