How long were you an EFL teacher, and how long have you been a teacher trainer?

I have been a teacher for 20 years and a trainer for 6 years.

Did you have a different career before EFL?

I have been a charity manager and a singer.

What are your hopes/aspirations for your trainees?

To keep improving as teachers and achieve their life goals.

When you were an EFL teacher what did you like most, and how do you bring that into the classroom for your trainees?

Enabling students to understand new language and using English in a meaningful way to discuss things that were important to the students. I similarly enable teachers to use new techniques and let them understand more about themselves through teaching.

What advice would you give your trainees for successfully completing the course?

Work hard and manage your time.

What advice would you give your trainees for an interesting and rewarding career?

Do what you enjoy!
