Job Description

We are looking for a proactive EFL teacher with enthusiasm for teaching young learners. The position would suit a team player that is flexible, independent, keen on professional development and sharing ideas. The teaching timetable is varied, ranging from very young and young learners to adults, from general English to exam classes, on-site as well as off-site courses.
As some teaching takes place online, all our classrooms are equipped with a laptop and a projector and as registers and reports are completed on-line, good computer skills are essential. The school is small, we usually have about 5 full time teachers, which enables the DoS to provide the teachers with plenty of individual attention and a tailor- made professional development programme.
An average of 20 teaching hours per 5 -day week. If a teacher teaches less than 20 hours in one week, s/he will be expected to make up the teaching hours at a later date. If necessary, the teacher can be expected to teach up to 25 hours a week. He/She is expected to teach split shifts. Our working hours are between 8 am and 9 pm, Saturdays from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm.
4 hours of meetings/seminars are held every month. Meetings and seminars are paid at admin rate.
Leaving bonus approx a third of a month’s salary. “Tredicesima” = approx 1/12 for every month worked. Travelling time for off -site work is paid.
