Job Description
English Teacher – Join Our Team!
We’re looking for a motivated, professional English teacher to join our supportive and experienced team in Portugal for the 2026–27 academic year. If you enjoy working with students of different ages and levels, value professional development, and want to be part of a genuinely collaborative school environment, we’d love to hear from you! This is a full-time position that includes 20 teaching hours per week.
Schedule:
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Most weekday classes take place in the late afternoon/ evening, with some in the morning or the early afternoon
- Saturday classes run from 09:00 to 13:00
🌟 What We’re Looking For:
- At least one years’ full-time teaching experience
- Experience working with young learners and teenagers (or a strong interest in developing this skill)
- Ability to inspire, manage and motivate students
- Strong teamwork, initiative, and sense of responsibility
- A proactive, positive approach to teaching, students and colleagues
- Excellent communicate skills
- Understanding of students’ needs and expectations
- Good administrative skills (keeping records, writing reports)
- Experience teaching Cambridge PET and First exam preparation (preferred)
