Essential Requirements 

  • You must have a valid work permit for Italy
  • The role is open only to those with the right to work in the EU.
  • You must have a CELTA, Trinity TESOL, or equivalent initial teaching qualification
  • You must have a driving licence and willingness to travel to off-site teaching locations
  • You must have a degree (e.g. BA, BSc)
  • You must have full mastery of English across all 4 skills to CEFR C2/IELTS band 8
  • Evidence of observed teaching practice
  • Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience
  • Proven experience teaching a variety of contexts, levels, and age groups
  • Demonstrable ability to plan and deliver well-structured, effective lessons independently

Desirable 

  • Additional experience and/or experience
  • Cambridge Speaking Examiner

The London School is located on the outskirts of Schio, a small, friendly market town in the northeast region of Veneto, within easy reach of Vicenza, Venezia, Padova and Verona, as well as local ski slopes in the pre-dolomites. 

THE LONDON SCHOOL STAFF
With our small, dedicated team, we bring energy and innovation to teaching, while fostering a friendly, family atmosphere. Accredited by Veneto Region, AISLi, IHWO, we are also a certified Cambridge Examination Centre and IELTS Partner. Our compact, permanent teaching team, includes the Director/DoS, ADoS, and up to 5 teachers, often with a range of experience, cultural backgrounds and ages. We also collaborate with a number of external, freelance educators. In addition, we have comprehensive Front Office team, including a course coordinator, exam centre officer, support tutor, and administrator, ensuring continuous support to our clients and teaching staff.
