Taking the CELTA in Croatia

With its Mediterranean climate, sparkling clear sea, island dotted coastline and beautifully preserved towns, Croatia is a wonderfully appealing destination to take your CELTA course. Croatia’s location east of Italy and between the Balkans and central Europe means it has a fascinating history and architecture that reflects Viennese, Venetian, Roman and Napoleonic influences.

Croatia is a popular holiday destination for good reason; its long coast means that you are never far from the beautiful clear sea, making it a great TEFL course destination for beach lovers.

If relaxing on the beach and taking a dip in the sea is a bit too laid back for you, then Croatia also offers some great water-based sport activities such as kite sailing, snorkelling, kayaking and sailing.

Those who enjoy a Mediterranean diet will be well catered for in Croatia.  The extensive coastline ensures fresh fish is always a good option and there is also a strong Italian influence for those who like pizza and pasta.

Croatia is well known for its islands. From Split you can board a catamaran from Split’s busy harbour to one of the beautiful islands nearby. The island of Brac is famous for Zlatni Rat, the long, pebbly beach that features on so many postcards of Croatia. Stunning Hvar boasting traffic free marble streets, a beautiful harbour and some very chic clubbing spots is also worth a visit.
